About the event

On 4 October 2022, at 10.00 am Greenlandic time, Arctic Hub and Ilisimatusarfik (University of Greenland) host a digital info meeting about the Greenlandic PhD competition Paasisavut.

Paasisavut is a research dissemination competition for PhDs who are engaged in research in and around Greenland - and the winner is the one who, in just five minutes, manages to convey his research in a simple, catchy, and relevant way without compromising on the scientific.

The competition is open to current PhD students and PhD holders who have submitted their thesis within the last two years. It is a requirement that the subject of your PhD project is directly related to Greenland, that you have done or plan to do significant parts of your research or fieldwork in Greenland, and that you are or have been enrolled at a Greenlandic or Nordic educational institution. You can read much more about the competition at paasisavut.gl.
